This post goes out to my little handsome boyz, Whiskey and Razz.This morning, dad brought them to the Vet to get their 'manhood' taken and their weapons revoked. (declaw)
I was originally against the declaw as this led to my precious Onyx's demise after a claw had grown BACK after 20 years, which led to pain, which led to pain meds that were too much for her.
However... when dealing with Whiskey and Razz, we've simply had enough of the 20 claws gripping into our banister and scratching it up, climbing the screens every chance they get when a window's open, using the couch as a scratching post, and of course, surprising me or the hubby with a gleeful LAUNCH onto our leg, using all claws to be assured they don't bounce off our flesh. Yup. Many a scar do we have.

So I'm praying for my little guyz this morning in that they handle things well and make a full recovery. Mommy promises to love you up, when she gets you tomorrow. Please don't hate me.

lol! your cats cracked me up last week. i'll be honest and say i'm glad it wasn't my furniture being used as a scratching post - but they were still highly amusing :) i hope all goes well today! can't wait to hear how much (if at all) their behaviors change...

i have NEVER seen cats like yours! so so so entirely amusing! i even told dave about them. :) but i would do the same thing if i were in your shoes. enough puncture wounds to the thigh will make anyone think so.
Quick update! The kitties are fine and are in the rehab ward now. They are being well taken care of at the Vet, and Mommy will go and get them tomorrow.
Lyss and I will be making a necklace out of the claws, and we are donating the balls to the Vikings LOL!
