Cook with Caution

The downfalls of a shared microwave oven at work, strike again.
One must be very careful when working with a microwave at work. You must tend to whatever you're heating up, be very attentive to assure no spills or explosions occur. For if they do, you're either the person that takes the time to clean it thoroughly, or you're the person that says, "eh, there's other crap in there already, why should I take the time to clean everyone else's too?" (and hopefully that's not you)
BUT...
Because of the spilled food/liquids that have been slowly turning into cement with each repeated boiling bake...
my oatmeal this morning smelled like vegetable soup.
-
Why couldn't it have been the time where it comes out smelling like popcorn - it's more appealing.

gross. really gross.

i have that same problem at work. pretty sure i'm one of the only people who ever cleans the kitchen area. which also means i'm washing other peoples dishes. disgusting.

i finally put up a sign the other day...
Stressed? Try hydrotherapy. Wash a dish!

also, jo, that is hilarious! in my last office, the "office den-mother" put up a sign that said "I AM NOT YOUR MOTHER! do your own dishes!" HAHAHAHA

Angie, thought about doing an "i'm not your mother" sign but with so much family in the office i didn't think it would end up looking quite right; hence, the generic, lighter version.
